Niederlommatzsch is a district of the Saxon community Diera-Zehren in the district of Meißen .
geography
Niederlommatzsch is located to the left of the Elbe on county road 8071 about four kilometers from Zehren. The place is one of the northernmost districts of Diera-Zehrens.

history
The alley village on Gewannflur Niederlommatzsch was first mentioned in 1321 as Lomnicz . The village was Castrum and later to Erbamt duly Meissen. Niederlommatzsch had the districts of Göhrisch and Wölkischhäuser . The basic rule exercised the manor Jahnishausen out. Niederlommatzsch was parish after Boritz and is now part of the Boritz-Leutewitz parish . Between 1856 and 1875 Niederlommatzsch belonged to the Meißen court office, then to the office of the same name . In 1871 the area was 151 hectares . In 1935 Naundorf was the third district to Niederlommatzsch incorporated . Wölkischhäuser came in 1938 to Wölkisch . In 1942 the Niederlommatzsch volunteer fire brigade was founded. As a result of the district reform in 1952 , Niederlommatzsch became an independent municipality part of the Meißen district , which was formed from the administrative authority and which expanded several times after the reunification. On January 1, 1994 Niederlommatzsch was incorporated into Zehren. Diera and Zehren merged five years later to form Diera-Zehren, and Niederlommatzsch has been part of this municipality since then.
