Niedermuschütz is located to the left of the Elbe on county road 8071, about two kilometers from Zehren. The Eckardsberg is nearby .

history

In 1180 a manor was mentioned, the owner of which was a Rodegerus de Moskewiz . Later a Vorwerk developed from it . The dead-end village to block and strip corridor Niedermuschütz 1547 was to Erbamt Meissen properly. Between 1856 and 1875 the village belonged to the Meißen court office, and then to the office of the same name . In 1900 the size of the district was 259 hectares . The place was parish to Zehren and today belongs to the local parish . Out of 210 inhabitants in 1925, 207 were Evangelical Lutheran and one Catholic . On November 1, 1935, Niedermuschütz was incorporated into Zehren . Due to the district reform in 1952 , the place became part of the Meißen district , which was formed from the administrative authority and which expanded several times after the reunification. Diera and Zehren merged to form Diera-Zehren on January 1st, 1999, and Niedermuschütz has been part of this municipality since then.
