Elfriede Bidmon

Elfriede Bidmon (* 1937 in Altkinsberg ) is a German dialect author .

Life

Elfriede Bidmon was born in Altkinsberg in 1937 and grew up in Schwabach . She worked as a lecturer for many years until she started writing in the 1980s. She has lived in Rednitzhembach since 1972 and works as a freelance writer.

She is a member of the Franconian Authors' Association , the Egerland cultural working group and the Nuremberg Dialect Poets Collegium . She mainly writes poetry , short stories and plays in High German and Franconian, her first novel in 2007.
