Elijah Kiprono Kemboi (born September 10, 1984 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

Career

At the Nairobi Marathon , he came 14th in 2008 and 21st in 2009.

In 2011 he won the Antwerp marathon and in October the Košice marathon in a personal best of 2:11:15 h. The following year he was tenth in the Barcelona Marathon .

In 2013 he was third in the Mumbai Marathon in 2:10:03 h and in October he was third in the Frankfurt Marathon behind Vincent Kipruto in a personal best of 2:07:34 h.

In April 2018 he finished second in Austria at the Linz Danube Marathon , in September he won the Sydney Marathon and in December the 33-year-old was able to win the Macau Marathon in 2:15:18 h .
