Elijus Čivilis (born December 8, 1981 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian politician , Vice Minister and Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania (2018).

Life

After graduation in 2000 at the "Ąžuolyno" -Mittelschule in Lazdynai graduated Elijus Civilis from 2000 to 2003, the Professional Bachelor -Studies computer programming at the Faculty of Electronics and computer science from College Vilnius calculations, from 2004 to 2009, the Bachelor of Economics at the University of Vilnius and from 2010 to 2013 an MBA at Warwick Business School, in the English county of Warwickshire .

2003–2004 Čivilis was IT manager at “Panama AMCHAM” and 2004–2006 “ Siemens Lietuva” technology consultant. From 2006 to 2008 he was a consultant and at " IBM Lietuva" and from 2008-2011 headed the center of "IBM Lietuva". 2011–2013 he worked as a team leader for SAP AMS Scandinavia at "IBM Danija" in Denmark . From 2013–2015, he led the service delivery program at IBM Airija ( IBM GBS Applications Services Delivery Center in Ireland ).

From 2015-2016 he was director of the Lithuanian IT company “Alna Software”. From 2016-2018 he was the representative of "IBM Lietuva" for the public and financial sector. Since March 26, 2018 he has been Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania and Deputy of Virginijus Sinkevičius in the Skvernelis Cabinet .

Elijus Čivilis is also a hobby cyclist . With Andrejus Dolgovas ("Top Team - Ultrabike") he took part in the mountain bike competition. " Mongolia Bike Challenge". He started the Baltic Chain Tour three times, but never finished it.

He speaks English, Russian and Spanish.

Čivilis is married. He and his wife Ugnė have a daughter and a son.
