Elisabeth Kula (born March 12, 1990 in Lich ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). She has been a member of the Hessian state parliament since 2019 .

Life

Kula studied economics from 2009 to 2010 and political science from 2010 to 2015 at the University of Giessen . She completed her master's degree in political science from 2015 to 2018 at the University of Marburg .

Kula has been a member of the Die Linke party since 2012 and a member of the state board of Die Linke Hessen since 2014 . Since 2016 she has held a mandate in the city council of Marburg . In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , she received a mandate in the Hessian state parliament . In the 20th electoral term she is a member of the cultural policy committee and spokeswoman for the Die Linke parliamentary group for education, youth and school policy.

She is a member of IG Metall , Left Youth Solid , Die Linke.SDS and the Socialist Left .
