Elisabeth Schäfer (politician)

Elisabeth Schäfer (born February 4, 1926 in Schwerin ) is a former German DFD functionary.

Life

After finishing secondary school, Schäfer trained as an agricultural laboratory assistant in Rostock from 1945 to 1947 and was a member of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED). In 1950 she joined the National Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD) and in 1951 became a full-time functionary of the DFD . In 1954 she moved as deputies to the People's Chamber of the GDR one, taking it from the first to the third term belonged.
