Elisabeth Church (Urnshausen)
The listed Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Elizabeth is in Urnshausen , a district of the municipality Dermbach in southern Wartburgkreis in Thuringia . The parish Urnshausen belongs to the parish area Urnshausen in the parish of Bad Salzungen-Dermbach the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The older church, which was burned down to the walls, was rebuilt in 1866–1868. Here was the church tower to the west by two octagonal confiscated bullets increased . In 1979/1980 the church was restored. The hall church has two portals on the south side , each behind a portico . The tower is covered with an eight - sided slate - covered tent roof, which is crowned by a tower ball . The nave has two-storey galleries and is spanned laterally with flat and in the middle with obtuse-angled wooden beam ceilings . The church furnishings are from 1866.
