Elisavet "Elli" Mystakidou ( Greek Ελισάβετ "Έλλη" Μυστακίδου ; * August 14, 1977 in Giannitsa ) is a former Greek Taekwondoin . She started in the Olympic weight class up to 67 kilograms.

successes

Elisavet Mystakidou became European champion in Patras in 2000 in the weight class up to 72 kilograms and two years later won silver in the weight class up to 67 kilograms in Samsun . At world championships she won bronze three times in different weight classes: 1993 in New York City (over 70 kilograms), 2001 in Jeju-si (up to 72 kilograms) and 2003 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (up to 67 kilograms). She took part in the Olympic Games twice: In 2004 she reached the final fight in Athens , where she narrowly lost to Luo Wei 6: 7 and thus won the silver medal. At the 2008 Olympic Games , however, she was eliminated after the first fight against Asunción Ocasio .
