Elizabeth "Eliza" Lydia Manningham-Buller, Baroness Manningham-Buller LG DCB (born July 14, 1948 in Northampton ) is a British intelligence officer and politician who was Director General of the Domestic Intelligence Service Security Service between 2002 and 2007 and has been a Life Peeress Member of the House of Lords is.

Family origin

Eliza Manningham-Buller is the daughter of the politician Reginald Manningham-Buller, 1st Viscount Dilhorne , who represented the Conservative Party as a Member of the House of Commons for almost 20 years and was both Solicitor General and Attorney General for England and Wales and Lord Chancellor .
