The Elizabeth River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river arises in Lake Leake from the Snowy River and various small rivulets. From there, it flows west-northwest through the city of Campbell Town and flows into the Macquarie River about five kilometers west of the city .
In Campbell Town, the Red Bridge spans the river.
