Elli Staerck

Elli Staerck later Elli Kögl-Staerck ( bl. 1940s – 1950s) is an Austrian figure skater .

Live and act

Her figure skating career began when she and her figure skating partner Harry Gareis finished second in pair skating at the Styrian figure skating championships in Graz on January 17, 1943, and won the pair championships with him on February 20, 1944. Together with Harry Gareis she won several medals in pair skating at the Austrian Figure Skating Championships from 1948 to 1951 and then performed with him internationally in ice dance shows. In pair skating , she took sixth place at the World Figure Skating Championships and fourth at the European Championships in 1950, together with Harry Gareis .

Her daughter Marina Kögl and granddaughter Denise Kögl (born August 3, 1988 in Graz ) are also successful in figure skating.
