Career
Elliot Grandin started his career as a professional footballer in his hometown at SM Caen in 2004 . After three and a half years in which he was able to play in the first team and with the breakthrough in the first division in the 2007/08 season, the top French club Olympique Marseille signed him in January 2008. There he was rarely used and was on loan to league rivals Grenoble Foot for five months in January 2009 . After eight goalless games, he returned to his home club, from which he was finally dismissed in September 2009. In 2010 he played briefly for CSKA Sofia .
On August 12, 2010 Grandin moved to the Premier League newly promoted Blackpool FC , where he signed a contract until the end of June 2012. Furthermore, he has agreed on a contract option for a further year with the association.
On January 29, 2012 he was loaned to OGC Nice until the end of the season.
On August 2, 2013, he moved to the Premier League promoted Crystal Palace on a free transfer .
After not even playing for Palace, he moved to Blackpool FC for the second time in February 2014. With Blackpool he secured in the 2013/14 season the class stay in the Football League Championship. In August 2014 he left the club and joined the Romanian first division club Astra Giurgiu . There it was only used twice. After the end of the 2014/15 season he was without a club for three months before the Saudi Arabian second division Al-Nahda Club signed him. In February 2016 Shrewsbury Town brought him back to England in Football League One . Since July 2016 he was again without a club. At the beginning of 2017, Ermis Aradippou signed to the Cypriot first division team . He achieved relegation with his club at the end of the 2016/17 season.
In the summer of 2017, his contract in Cyprus was not renewed. Grandin was without a club for half a year before joining the French fourth division team Étoile Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël in January 2018 . In the 2019/20 season he will play for JS Saint-Pierre on the island of Réunion .
