Elmira Bahrami (born December 21, 1985 in Siegen ) is a German actress and musician .

Life

Elmira Bahrami's parents left Iran after the Islamic Revolution and emigrated to Germany, where she was born. She grew up in Wiesbaden and graduated from the Leibniz Gymnasium with a focus on music. Elmira Bahrami studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts . Since graduating in 2011 she has been working as a freelance actress for theater and film.

Elmira Bahrami starred in films such as Das Hochzeitvideo directed by Sönke Wortmann and Berlin Syndrome directed by Cate Shortland and had a role in Tatort: ​​Trautes Heim .

Bahrami a. a. with directors such as Hakan Savaş Mican , Sebastian Nübling , Antú Romero Nunes , Lukas Langhoff and the artist collective Prinzip Gonzo.

In addition to acting, Elmira Bahrami works as a musician. She is the singer and violinist in the band Projekt Guzu . Bahrami lives in Berlin.
