Edgar Xavier Ertl
Edgar Xavier Ertl SAC (born September 3, 1966 in Nova Prata do Iguaçu , Paraná , Brazil ) is Bishop of Palmas-Francisco Beltrão .
Life
Edgar Xavier Ertl joined the Congregation of the Pallottine in and laid on 25 May 1996, the perpetual profession from. He received on 29 December 1996 the Bishop of Palmas-Francisco Beltrão, Agostinho José Sartori OFM Cap , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 27, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Palmas-Francisco Beltrão. The Archbishop of Cascavel , Mauro Aparecido dos Santos , donated him episcopal ordination on July 23 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the prelate of Borba , Elói Róggia SAC, and the auxiliary bishop in São Paulo , Júlio Endi Akamine SAC. The inauguration took place on July 24, 2016.
