This was followed by appearances at many events in 2012, including the Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum , the Role Play Convention in Cologne, the (Festival Mediaval) in Selb and the Bardentreffen in Horn-Bad Meinberg.

In 2013 the band had a gig at the Hörnerfest Open Air in Brande-Hörnerkirchen . On May 31, 2013 Elmsfeuer released their debut album “Schatzsuche” on the label Totentanz Records / Al! Ve.

In August 2014 they also played at the Wacken Open Air . In the fall of 2014, Anni Oakley and Doc Holsch left the band. With the bassist Djast vom Mast and the accordionist Jessi Canero the band was complete again since November 2014.

On January 31, 2015, the band said goodbye to Anni Oakley at a concert in Hamburg, and Djast vom Mast made his debut on bass. On April 24th, 2015 the first joint appearance with the new line-up with Jessi Canero on the accordion took place at the festival "Clash of the Clans" in Heilbronn. In the 4/2015 issue, the magazine “Zillo Medieval” reported on the change of musician at Elmsfeuer and the plans for a second album. In October, Jessi Canero left the band.

In December 2016 Sebastian Saitensegler and Ann Wigbold joined the band, which celebrated their debut on February 18, 2017 at a concert in Dülmen.

style

The band calls their style "pirate rock". Instead of the bagpipes common in medieval rock , the violin and accordion play an important role here. Other instruments used are guitar, bass and drums. The band writes all of their songs themselves, the lyrics deal with pirate topics like pirate trips and shore leave.
