Emanuel Herosé
Emanuel Herosé (born September 28, 1813 in Konstanz , Grand Duchy of Baden , † July 27, 1895 in Zurich ) was a Swiss politician and businessman.
biography
Emanuel Herosé was the son of Ludwig Herosé, a negotiator in Constance who owned a spinning mill in Oftringen from 1826 . Herosé married Adele Ringier, the daughter of a district official. He later took over his father's spinning mill, moved to Zofingen , where he was governor from 1869 to 1874, representing the cantonal government at the district level. He was a member of the Aargau Grand Council from 1856 to 1860 , and from 1865 to 1866 he was a representative of the Liberals in the National Council . There he belonged to the Liberal Center (LM).
From 1866 to 1877 Herosé was president of the cultural society of the Zofingen district . The cultural society had set up an association which, when it was founded, pursued the goal of supporting neglected children and young people from awkward social circumstances.
