Émerson da Conceição (born February 23, 1986 in São Paulo , Brazil ), known as Émerson , is a Brazilian football player .
Career
Corinthians Paranaense - Lille OSC
Emerson began his professional career in 2006 at Club Corinthians Paranaense (2006 still J. Malucelli Futebol ). Because of his performance he was noticed by the French OSC Lille . For the 2006/07 season he moved to Lille OSC for a transfer fee of 450,000 euros, where he became a regular player in a short time. Together with his club, he won the French Football Cup on May 14, 2011 and the French League in the same year.
Benfica Lisbon
At the end of July 2011, Émerson signed a three-year contract with Benfica Lisbon . This transfer cost the club around 2 million euros. On July 20, 2011, he played his first game for Benfica Lisbon, in the friendly against Toulouse FC . In the summer of 2012, Émerson was not included in the plans of coach Jorge Jesus and decided to change the team.
Trabzonspor
The full-back moved to Trabzonspor in Turkey for 1.6 million euros for the 2012/13 season , where he signed a contract until summer 2014. Benfica has a 20% share in a resale.
Rennes stadium
In the summer of 2013, the Brazilian signed a one-year contract with the French first division club Stade Rennes .
Brazil
After his contract with Stade Rennes expired, Emerson returned to Brazil and joined Atlético Mineiro .
