Emil Braemer

Emil Braemer (born January 31, 1860 in Colbitz , † 1939 in Berlin ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Emil Braemer studied law at the University of Halle and the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1881 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Halle . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. He completed his government traineeship in Aurich and passed the government assessor exam in 1890. Initially a government assessor at the Königsberg government , Braemer became district administrator of the Oletzko district at the end of 1894 . In 1909 he was appointed to the supervisory board of the Oletzkoer Kleinbahn-Aktiengesellschaft . From 1908 to 1918 he sat as a conservative member of the constituency of Allenstein 3 (Oletzko, Lyck, Johannisburg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . In 1910 he became a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia . In September 1919 he was put into temporary retirement as a district administrator and finally retired in 1923. After his retirement, Braemer lived in Berlin-Siemensstadt .
