Emil Döllken

Emil Döllken (born March 23, 1903 in Essen , † February 13, 1962 in Hilversum , Netherlands ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, he studied law and passed the first and second state exams. Döllken worked as a lawyer in Heiligenhaus . He had been a member of the SPD since 1945, and left the SPD in 1958. He was married.

He was a member of the district assembly of the Düsseldorf-Mettmann district from October 17, 1948 to 1961. From November 11, 1948 to April 10, 1961 he was district administrator of the Düsseldorf-Mettmann district.

Döllken was represented in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia and from 1953 to 1961 a member of the landscape assembly of the Rhineland Regional Council . He was also a member of the Federal Assembly in 1949 and 1954 , which Theodor Heuss elected Federal President .

On May 9, 1961, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class.
