Emile Sherman
Emile Sherman is an Australian film producer and Oscar winner .
Life
Sherman has been a film producer since 2000. He has been nominated for the AFI Award by the Australian Film Institute several times, and in 2014 he received the AACTA Award . Sherman ran his own production company with Sherman Pictures.
In 2008 he founded the production company See-Saw Films with Iain Canning . For The King's Speech , Sherman won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 2011 Academy Awards, along with Canning and Gareth Unwin . The three also received a British Academy Film Award .
