Emiliano Ariel Dudar (born August 12, 1981 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player . He plays on the defensive, usually in the position of center-back or sweeper. Before returning to Switzerland in 2013, he played for DC United in Washington in the North American Major League Soccer . In the 2013/14 season he played for FC Sion .
Life
Dudar was badly injured in the face in a collision with his teammate François Affolter in the BSC Young Boys championship game in the 8th round on September 12, 2010 against FC Basel . He passed out and remained motionless on the artificial turf for several minutes. He was still receiving medical attention on the square. He was treated for four weeks in the Inselspital , but was then able to leave the hospital without permanent damage and then ran into head protection for YB again.
After he was no longer considered by the new coach, Christian Gross , in the first half of the 2011/2012 season, Dudar moved to DC United in January 2012 .
In 2013 he returned to FC Chiasso in the Challenge League before signing a one-year contract with FC Sion in the 2013 summer transfer window .
