Emily Kuroda

Emily Keiko Kuroda (born October 30, 1952 in Fresno County , California ) is an American actress .

biography

Emily Kuroda began acting and directing in high school . She studied theater in college but was encouraged to be a teacher rather than an actress herself. However, she met the "East West Players", the first Asian-American theater company in Los Angeles , which she joined in the summer of 1978 and discovered her own acting talent.

Kuroda mainly worked on television productions and series, for example in 1991 in the crime series Columbo . From 2000 to 2007 she played the role of Mrs. Kim in the hit series Gilmore Girls . In 2016 she was also featured in an episode of the sequel Gilmore Girls: A New Year .

Her work as an actress includes more than 90 productions for film and television.
