Emily McLaughlin

Emily McLaughlin (born December 1, 1928 in White Plains , New York , † April 26, 1991 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .

Life

She made her acting debut in 1958 in the series Young Dr. Malone as Dr. Eileen Seaton. From 1963 until her death in 1991 she was seen in the soap opera General Hospital as head nurse Jessie Brewer. In 1974 she received a Golden Globe nomination for her role. In 1982 she starred in the film Kiss Me Doc .

Her first marriage was to actor Kenneth Harlan. From 1956 to 1968 with the actor Robert Lansing . The couple had a child together. In 1969 she married the actor Jeffrey Hunter , who died of a stroke shortly afterwards.

Emily McLaughlin died of cancer and was buried next to her last husband, Jeffrey Hunter, in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Sylmar , California.
