Empire is the second studio album by the British rock band Kasabian . It was released on August 28, 2006 and immediately reached number 1 on the British album charts . It contains 11 songs, including three singles.
Reviews
The album was received rather negatively. Christian Preusser from Plattentests.de writes: "Even after a few runs of" Empire "one cannot get rid of the assumption that Kasabian wanted to achieve more with limited resources than was actually possible. Primal Scream adaptations run over the entire length of the album. The songs lounging in a whiskey tasty jam, between acid rock and covered The Dandy Warhols, who with full pear and cluttered mind tempt you to risky dance maneuvers. Whether it's madness or talent: Kasabian subjugate at least the dance floors of the Indian discos. "
