En mai, fais ce qu'il te plaît is a French fiction film from 2015. It premiered at the Festival International du Film de Saint-Jean-de-Luz 2015 in France. In Germany, the film took part in the competition at the Munich Film Festival 2016. Ennio Morricone's music was nominated for best film score at the Césars 2016 as well as at the World Soundtrack Awards in the same year.

In May 1940, millions of French flee the German invasion. Among them is a resister who has fled Germany. He is looking for his son, who is also fleeing, with a Scottish soldier whose unit has been wiped out and who wants to rejoin his troops.

"A film that never feels as intense as it should, even when committed presentations - especially by non-French Diehl (Inglourious Basterds) and Rhys (co-star on The Americans) - develop the characters further than they appear in the script like to be.
