Enak Ferlemann
Enak Matthias Ferlemann (born July 12, 1963 in Bad Rothenfelde ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002 . He is Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure.
Life and work
After graduating from high school in 1982 at the Lichtenberg-Gymnasium Cuxhaven , Ferlemann completed an apprenticeship as a banker and then did his military service from 1984 . In 1985 he began studying law , political science and philosophy , which he broke off without a degree. Since then, he has held several positions in business consulting professions. Ferlemann has been a managing partner of Dr. Mingramm Immobilien, Handel, Unternehmensberatung GmbH in Cuxhaven .
Enak Ferlemann is married and has two children.
Political party
Ferlemann joined the Junge Union as a schoolboy in 1976 and also joined the CDU in 1979. He has been chairman of the CDU district association of Cuxhaven since 1995 and chairman of the CDU district association of Elbe-Weser (formerly Stade district association) since 1999. He is also a member of the state executive committee of the CDU in Lower Saxony .
MP
Ferlemann has been a member of the city council of Cuxhaven since 1986 and of the district council of the Cuxhaven district since 1991 .
He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002 . From 2005 to October 2009 and from October 2013 to May 2014 he was chairman of the Lower Saxony state group in the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .
Ferlemann entered the Bundestag in 2002 and 2005 via the Lower Saxony state list. In the federal election on September 27, 2009, he was able to win the newly formed constituency of Cuxhaven - Stade II by a narrow margin. In the 2013 federal election , he won the constituency significantly with 46.8% of the first votes . In the 2017 federal election, he received 42.7% of the first votes.
Ferlemann was appointed Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Development in October 2009 . In April 2018, he also became the Federal Government Commissioner for Rail Transport. In January 2019, he spoke out in favor of higher ticket prices in rail transport.
