Endiryah was a metalcore band from Vienna , Austria , founded in 2006. Their music style included elements from metal , hardcore and melodic death metal . In the late summer of 2014, the band announced their breakup to devote themselves to other musical projects.

history

The band was founded in 2006 by Michael Ramhardter (drums), Raphael Beran (guitar), Andreas Weidinger (guitar), Florian Satter (bass) and Alexander Pegac (vocals). Weidinger left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Jürgen Schicha (lead guitar), before Beran and Ramhardter also left the band in 2008 and Philipp Benda (guitar) and Alexander Huber (drums) joined through longer friendships. In the summer of 2012, Philipp Benda announced that he would have to leave the band for professional reasons. He was quickly replaced by Mauro Putzer shortly before touring Europe as part of the Autumn Lights Tour.

Endiryah has played with bands like War from a Harlots Mouth , Salt the Wound , Arsonists Get All the Girls , A Plea for Purging , The Swellers , The Black Dahlia Murder , Entombed , Blessed by a Broken Heart , Texas in July since it was founded in 2006 , Here Comes the Kraken , Devil Sold His Soul , Four Year Strong and many more. Endiryah also appeared in 2010 at Nova Rock , at Give It a Name in Vienna , at Extremefest in 2012 and in 2011 and 2012 at Metalfest .

The band was signed to the Austrian indie label Burnside Records from 2011 to 2014.

Band name

The name Endiryah has no specific meaning or origin. The name was specially created by the band as a mark of identity for the group and is not intended to indicate any particular meaning.
