The Ennert is the 152.0 m high north-westerly elevation of the Ennert ridge of the same name , which covers the Siebengebirge ( natural area 292.4) to the north, but is counted as part of the Pleiser Hügelland (292.5). It rises immediately to the east of the Küdinghoven district in Bonn in the Beuel district .

At the same time, the Ennert represents the north-westerly elevation on the right bank of the Rhine of the natural spatial main unit 292 Lower Middle Rhine Region, which meets the Cologne Bay here .

Neighboring peaks are the Holtorfer Hardt (150.8 m) in the east and the Röckesberg (165 m) in the southeast. On the side of the Ennert summit plateau facing the Rhine is a lookout point with the Foveaux house .
