Enno (spelling: enno ) is a brand of the Metronom Eisenbahngesellschaft . Enno carries out local passenger transport on railway lines in the metropolitan region of Hanover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg . The name is derived from E lektro- N etz N iedersachsen- O st .
history

A trial run between Göttingen and Hanover started on November 16, 2015 . On December 13, 2015, regular operations began on the two routes between Wolfsburg and Hanover and Hildesheim .

At enno, 20 Coradia Continental multiple units of the "Regionalbahnfahrzeuge Greater Braunschweig" were initially used. These are four-part and have 235 seats (twelve of them in 1st class) and 275 standing places. There are sockets at many of the seats and sun blinds on all windows. A dynamic passenger information system shows the journey and possible connections. The vehicles are serviced at Alstom in Braunschweig. Another four railcars were ordered in February 2016; they were delivered in spring 2017 and integrated into the enno fleet.
