Enric Rabassa Llompart (born April 19, 1920 , † December 29, 1980 ) was a Spanish football player and coach.
Career
As a player, Rabassa was active for lower-class teams, including UE Sants , FC Badalona , San Celoni and San Sadurní.
He started his coaching career with the youth teams of FC Barcelona . In the seasons 1958/59 and 1959/60 he was the assistant coach of Helenio Herrera at FC Barcelona. After Herrera was dismissed at the end of the 1959/60 season, Rabassa came on as head coach. Although he was head coach of Barcelona for only a few games, he won the Spanish league in 1960 and the trade fair cup in 1960 with Barça . After this season Ljubiša Broćić was coach of FC Barcelona and Rabassa coach of CD Condal .
In the 1961/62 season he took over on the 20th matchday the head coach of the bottom of the table of the Primera Disivión, CD Tenerife . But since Tenerife only won two of a possible 11 league games under Rabassa, Tenerife remained in last place and was relegated to the Segunda División . In the following season he took over the coaching position of the first division promoted Deportivo La Coruña . Again, Rabassa was not particularly successful and scored 7 out of 30 possible points with Depor after matchday 10. This prompted the Deportivo management team to fire him.
Until the end of his coaching career in 1969, he still coached the clubs CE l'Hospitalet , CD Atlético Baleares and FC Reus .
