Enrico Ciccone (born April 10, 1970 in Montréal , Québec ) is a former Italian - Canadian ice hockey player who worked for the Minnesota North Stars , Washington Capitals , Tampa Bay Lightning , Chicago Blackhawks , Carolina Hurricanes, among others , Vancouver Canucks and Montréal Canadiens in the National Hockey League , as well as Mosquitos Essen in the German Ice Hockey League .

Career

Enrico Ciccone began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian junior league QMJHL , in which he was active from 1987 to 1990 for the Shawinigan Cataractes and Trois-Rivières Draveurs . He was then selected in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft in the fifth round as a total of 92 players by the Minnesota North Stars , for whom he made his debut in the National Hockey League in the 1991/92 season , after he had worked for their farm team the previous year Kalamazoo Wings was accrued in the International Hockey League .
