Enrico Malizia

Enrico Malizia (born March 31, 1926 in Rome ) is an Italian toxicologist and author .

Act

Malizia has held a professorship in toxicology at the University of La Sapienza in Rome, where it has the Poison Control Center at the Policlinico Umberto I founded. He is the author of around 300 scientific publications and several books. He researches u. a. on the subject of " Witches , Wizards and Alchemists ". The works of the painter Hieronymus Bosch influenced him . He is Vice-President of the Albero del Sapere Association . His work Le droghe was published by Newton Compton as part of the Biblioteca del Sapere Newton series.

Appreciations

Malizia has been awarded honorary doctorates from the Faculty of Medicine at Ghent University in Belgium and Seton Hall University in New Jersey . He is Honorary Director of the Rivista di Clinica Terapeutica and the Italian Rivista Italiana di Tossicologia . In Italy, he was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit for Health and Public Education ( Medaglia d'oro al Merito della Sanità e della Pubblica Istruzione ).
