Enrico Minutoli

Enrico Capece Minutoli (* in Naples ; † June 17, 1412 in Bologna ) was a cardinal of the Roman Church .

Live and act

1382 he was by Pope Urban VI. appointed Bishop of Bitonto , 1383 Archbishop of Trani . In September 1389 he was transferred to the archbishopric of Naples . Pope Boniface IX appointed him on December 18, 1389 cardinal priest with the titular church Santa Anastasia . He held the administration of the Archdiocese of Naples until 1399. Under Gregory XII. In 1406 he became chamberlain of the Holy College of Cardinals , which he remained until his death. In May 1408, Minutoli became dean of the college of cardinals . In 1409 he joined the Council of Pisa and from 1409 to 1412 he was Cardinal Bishop of Sabina .

His tomb is in the Minutoli Chapel of the Cathedral of Naples .
