Enrico Simonetti (born January 29, 1924 in Alassio , † May 28, 1978 in Rome ) was an Italian pianist and film composer .

Life

Simonetti studied piano and composition at the Accademia Chigiana . After his first live experience in Roman nightclubs with Bruno Martino , he went to Brazil with an acting group in 1948 , where he led his own orchestra, which was counted among the best in the country and where he created the music for almost forty films before moving to Italy returned. There he received and designed with great success his own program Excelsior and took part in numerous music festivals. He was with his orchestra, who also moderated and worked for the radio, in many other formats such as Il signore ha suonato? , Lei non si preoccupi or Aiuto è vacanza in the 1960s alongside Isabella Biagini or in the following decade in L'amico della notte and Non tocchiamo quel tasto negli .
