action

The millionaire Pinkerton wants to build a large shopping center in his Brazilian island paradise. When Professor Rollins tries to talk him out of this plan, Pinkerton suggests a bet: If he and a group of his students manage to spend 90 days on the island without all the amenities of civilization, he'll give him the land. Under the guidance of the jungle expert Jeff Martin, a plane takes the group to Rio de Janeiro . Then it goes on with a motorboat to the island. Almost unclothed, the young people live in self-built huts made of palm leaves. While the women collect wild fruits, the men hunt with spears and bows and arrows. The group's favorite pastime, however, is bathing in the foaming surf under a waterfall and flirting with each other.

But not everything is going smoothly on the island. One day Yvette falls off a rock and is seriously injured. Now good advice is quite expensive. The islanders are considering calling for help using the radio that has been given to them for emergencies. However, this would mean that they would have to write off the island. Suddenly, however, a motorboat appears in the distance with the pick-up team. The 90 days are up; the bet is won.

criticism

The lexicon of international films doesn't think much of the film : "A pretext for a boring and cautiously speculative nudist film with a far-fetched plot."
