Enterprise Products is a US pipeline operator . It was founded in 1968 by Dan Duncan (1933-2010).
The company operates a network of 49,000 miles of pipelines across the United States . Of this, 33,000 km are natural gas, 32,000 km are natural gas liquids , 10,000 km are crude oil and almost 7,000 km are product lines. In addition, cavern storage , terminals and equipment operated at the natural gas processing and for the separation of liquid gases from wet natural gas.

history
In 2014 the Appalachia-to-Texas- Pipeline (ATEX) was completed, which transports gas condensate ( ethane ) from the Marcellus Shale to Mont Belvieu , Texas. The capacity is 125 MBPD .
In 2014, Marquard & Bahls ' stake in Oiltanking Partners and thus a tank terminal in Beaumont and an import / export terminal in Morgan's Point on the Houston Ship Channel were acquired .
Enterprise Products is the largest supplier of natural gas liquids in the USA. After the end of the oil export ban, the company became the largest exporter of crude oil from the USA.
