Noordel.

Entoloma subg. Omphaliopsis is a sub-genus of the red rot , which is divided into the two sections Insolita and Omphaliopsis . Due to the hats, which are often recessed in the middle, the species of the genus are also referred to as navel red blooms .

The type species is the long-stemmed umbilical rötling ( Entoloma incarnatofuscescens ).

features

The umbilical-like fruiting bodies have a brown or gray, usually slightly hygrophanic hat. The stem sometimes shows a shade of blue. Cheilocystids, if present, are simply club-shaped and not much longer than the young basidia . The top layer of the hat is a cutis with transitions to a trichoderm made up of hyphae up to 30 µm wide . The pigment is intracellular, sometimes the hyphae in the deeper layers of the cap skin are also finely encrusted. The septa usually have buckles .

Systematics

Insolita section

The species of the Insolita section have a brown or gray hat and often a blue-tinted stem. Cheilocystides are absent. Buckle connections are rare.

Section of omphaliopsis

The characteristics of the Omphaliopsis section correspond to those of the Sekt.  Insolita . If there are cystids on the blades of the lamellae, they are clubbed and the same size as the basidia.
