Erdmute Prautzsch
Erdmute Prautzsch (born January 16, 1969 in Kassel ) is a German painter .
Life
After finishing school, Erdmute Prautzsch studied German and art education in Nuremberg and Göttingen from 1989 to 1992 . She then completed a degree in design from 1992 to 1999 at what was then the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences ( HAW ) and graduated with a diploma. Since then she has been working as a freelance artist.

Erdmute Prautzsch's work oscillates between the two poles of dream and reality. Her topic is the experience of space between these two extremes. The meeting of near and far, sharpness and blurring, angles and perspectives create special moments. Spatial dimensions also play a role when it comes to feelings of memory, presence and longing that come together.
“Erdmute Prautzsch has developed a broad repertoire in the field of art. Graphics, painting, photography, designed spaces and texts are the fields in which she moves creatively. Works were created which, in the density of their inner cohesion, make it possible to experience that the themes and motifs, regardless of the sector of design, encircle a core, an inner center. "
