Erhart von Machwitz (* around 1380 ; † after 1422 ) was a bailiff in Schauenstein .

Life

Erhart came from the noble family of those von Machwitz . On June 4, 1422 he stayed a. a. in addition to Count Oswalt von Truhendingen , Conrad von Aufseß , Hans von Sparneck , Caspar von Waldenfels , Hans von Seebach and Apel von Vitzthum the Elder at Schleiz Castle , where a state peace alliance to secure the highways against robbery and drudgery between Elector Friedrich von Brandenburg and the Landgraves Friedrich the Elder , Wilhelm and Friedrich the Younger of Thuringia completed and mutual help was promised.
