Conrad von Aufseß (* around 1380 , † after 1422 ) was a knight and bailiff in Hof .

Life

He came from the noble family von Aufseß . In 1412 he acquired Hofeck Palace from the Nuremberg burgrave Friedrich . On June 4, 1422 he stayed a. a. in addition to Count Oswalt von Truhendingen , Erhart von Machwitz , Hans von Sparneck , Caspar von Waldenfels , Hans von Seebach and Apel von Vitzthum the Elder at Schleiz Castle , where a peace alliance to secure the country roads against robbery and drudgery between Elector Friedrich von Brandenburg and the Landgraves Friedrich the Elder , Wilhelm and Friedrich the Younger of Thuringia completed and mutual help was promised. Conrad von Aufseß had to undertake to see to it that his successor in the function of bailiff von Hof in Weida should acknowledge the concluded peace alliance.
