Eric Benjamin
Eric Benjamin (born May 13, 1920 in Klassenong , West Bengal , India , † May 12, 1994 ) was Bishop of Darjeeling .
Life
Eric Benjamin received on 24 August 1945, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On August 8, 1962, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Darjeeling. The Archbishop of Malta , Michael Gonzi , donated him episcopal ordination on October 7th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Ranchi , Pius Kerketta SJ , and the Bishop of Raigarh-Ambikapur , Stanislaus Tigga .
He participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a council father.
