Stephen Lepcha
Stephen Lepcha (born December 22, 1952 in Suruk , West Bengal , India ) is Bishop of Darjeeling .
Life
Stephen Lepcha received on 15 December 1982, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 14, 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Darjeeling. The Archbishop of Calcutta , Henry Sebastian D'Souza , donated him episcopal ordination on December 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Raiganj , Alphonsus D'Souza SJ , and the Bishop of Jalpaiguri , James Anthony Toppo .
