Eric Forsberg

Eric Forsberg (born December 16, 1959 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American director and screenwriter of several B-movies and comedies .

Life

Eric Forsberg is the son of the American improvisation drama teacher Josephine Raciti Forsberg and the director Rolf Forsberg.

Forsberg is the writer and director of the feature film Mega Piranha (2010) as well as the screenwriter of the feature film Snakes on a Train (2006), one of the first mockbusters of the film studio The Asylum . He also wrote the scripts for 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea (2007) and War of the Worlds 2 - The Next Wave of Attacks (2008), which were also created under the umbrella of The Asylum. He directed the films Alien Abduction (2005), and Night of the Dead (2006). Other films he has worked on include Torture Room and the stoner comedy Sex Pot and Monster ,Thor - The Almighty , Arachnoquake and Lord of the Elves - The Age of Halflings . He has also worked as a co-producer and assistant director on numerous films for Christopher Coppola and Alain Silver , including White Nights , Bel Air and Palmer Pickup . In his early years he was an improvisational comedy instructor at The Players Workshop and The Second City Training Center in Chicago.

Forsberg lives in Southern California with his wife Karen and daughter Lola. He is a founding member of the production company Cerebral Experiment.
