Eric Veiga (born February 18, 1997 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg footballer of Portuguese descent.

Career

society

In 2015 Veiga moved from Bayer 04 Leverkusen 's youth to Eintracht Braunschweig's A youth team . For the 2016/17 season he was promoted to the club's second team, which played in the Regionalliga Nord .

In July 2019 he moved on to the Portuguese first division club Desportivo Aves . Here, however, he has only been used for his U-23 in the junior round , the Liga Revelação Sub .

National team

In the junior division, Veiga played for both Luxembourg and Portugal. On May 18, 2016, Luc Holtz appointed him to the senior national team of Luxembourg for the first time for a friendly against Nigeria , but did not play. On September 2, 2016, Veiga made his debut for Luxembourg against Latvia . Veiga played his first competitive game for Luxembourg on October 10, 2016, when he came on for the injured Christopher Martins Pereira in the 35th minute of the World Cup qualifier against Belarus .
