Erich Arndt (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Arndt belonged to the BTuFC Viktoria 89 , for which he played point games from 1911 to 1913 in the Berlin championships organized by the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs . During his club membership he played as a striker and twice reached the finals of the Berlin championship with his team. As the winners of group A, BTuFC Viktoria 89 lost to BFC Preussen , winners of group B, after the return leg on April 7th and 21st in the overall result 2: 4. In the following season he and his club prevailed in a ten-team league as champions - two points ahead of Berlin BC 03 .

Although the BTuFC Viktoria 89 narrowly missed the Berlin championship in 1912, it took part in the final round of the German championship again as German champion of 1911 and thus as defending champion. Arndt made his debut on May 5, 1912 in a 7-0 quarter-final victory at BuEV Danzig , where he scored a flawless hat trick between the 15th and 43rd minute . The semifinals held in Berlin on May 12, 1912 , however, were lost 1: 2 afterwards against the future German champions, Holstein Kiel . He played his last two final round matches on April 13th and 27th, 1913 in a 6-1 quarter-final win in Berlin against SV Prussia-Samland Königsberg - in which he scored the 3-0 goal in the 42nd and the final score in the 70th.
