Erich Bohnekamp

Erich Bohnekamp (born August 27, 1901 in Drevenack ; † June 2, 1955 there ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Duisburg in 1919, Bohnekamp studied agricultural science at the University of Bonn. In 1921 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Bonn . After completing his studies as a qualified farmer in 1922, he worked in Drevenack for his father's company, H. Bohnekamp GmbH & Co. He was married and had four children.

He was a member of the district council of the former Rees district from 1946 to 1955. From November 25, 1952 until his death on June 2, 1955, he was district administrator of the Rees district. He was also mayor of the office of Schermbeck from 1946 to 1954 .

From 1953 to 1955 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .
