Erich Brautlacht

Erich Brautlacht (born August 5, 1902 in Rheinberg , † December 30, 1957 in Kleve ) was a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Erich Brautlacht studied law at the universities of Münster , Munich and Tübingen and obtained a doctorate in law. After a time as a court trainee in Rheinberg , he was a judge at the regional court in Duisburg from 1929 to 1934 and at the regional court in Kleve from 1934 to 1953 . In 1953 he was promoted to the district court director in Kleve.

In addition to his legal work, Erich Brautlacht wrote humorous stories and novels , often of an idyllic character, on topics from his homeland on the Lower Rhine .
