Erich Dietrich von Rosen (Knighthood Captain)

Erich Dietrich von Rosen , baron since 1731 (* 1689 , † 1735 ), was an Estonian knighthood captain .

Life

Erich Dietrich was a member of the Estonian Freiherrn von Rosen from the house Hochrosen- Schönangern- Sonorm . His parents were the Estonian district administrator Hans von Rosen († 1700/1701) and Britta, née Countess Stenbock from the house of Bogesund († 1716).

In 1732 he married Ulrike Eleonore, née von Patkul from the Owerlack family, widowed von Schlippenbach and von Essen (1643) (* 1683). The marriage remained childless.

Erich Dietrich was the hereditary lord on Sellie and from 1715 to 1720 Estonian knight captain. He is said to have been raised to the status of Swedish baron in 1731 with his brothers Hans (1685–1767), Estonian district administrator, and Gustav Friedrich (1688–1769), Swedish general .
