Soonurme ( German  Sonorm ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the Ida-Viru district ( East Wierland ) in northeast Estonia . Since October 2013 it has been in the rural community of Lüganuse ( Lüganuse vald ). Until its formation it was in the rural community of Maidla ( Maidla vald ).

The village has 92 inhabitants (as of 2000).
